This year Troop 127 attended Woodland Trails Scout Reservation just north of Camden, Ohio. this is Miami Valley Councils only Boy Scout Summer camp and it is right at our backdoor less than 20 miles as the crow flies from Farmersville, Ohio. During this year's camp the troop took 9 boys and 4 adults to camp and earned 30+ merit badges, Many Honor camper awards, Baden Powell, and the Duty to God Patches. On top of all of that the boys build the winning gateway for the gateway competition and placed 3rd in this year's Golden Skillet (Cooking Contest) while competing against troops that had as many as 50 youth members. A new Photo Gallery has been added to the site for 2009 summer camp please check it out HERE!! If you have photos to add please let Scoutmaster Dale know and he can setup access for you to upload them to the site. Thanks for a great year at camp! |
