The 2009 University of Scouting will be held Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at the Tipp City Middle School. The Day will begin with the OA Pancake Breakfast at 7am. Registration will begin at 7:30am, opening ceremonies begin at 8:30am, and course sessions are from 9am to 5pm. The University of Scouting is a one-day leader-training program designed to provide ideas and resources in areas to benefit you and your unit. The University of Scouting is offered once a year to assist all Scout volunteers in their Scouting positions. The day includes courses for; Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturing Unit Leaders. There are general interest courses offered for all attendees. You do not have to be a registered Leader to participate. Registration packages will be available at Roundtables, through individual mailings, at the Scout Service Center and on-line at the MVCBSA web page. Packets will be available in early March. Cost is $20 if paid by April 11, 2009. After that date or at the door, the cost is $30. Bring a friend, other Pack, Troop or Crew adult leaders with you.
